A Tradition of Caring and Charity Each year the pupils raise large sums of money for charity. Many thousands of pounds have been donated to a variety of causes. Collections are weekly and also on special occasions throughout the year. Junior LSC also contributes towards ‘Dogs’ Trust’.
The Pupils sponsor two children in Guatemala through the ‘Adopt a Child’ scheme. At Christmas the School Choir is invited to sing at the Carol Service in the local Church and visits a Residential Home to sing carols. Pupils prepare and take gifts to the senior citizens in our local community. This is very much appreciated by all concerned. A Senior Citizens’ Concert takes place each year at Christmas. Pastoral CareThis school has a well developed Pastoral Care System, a Prefect System and a Form and House System, whereby pupils are encouraged to develop as responsible, responsive and helpful citizens of the future. The school plays an important role in your child’s personal development. A lot of time and resources are spent helping children to become important members of the school community. Parents are encouraged to meet with the Form Teacher at any time during the year if the need arises. Curriculum • We offer the full N.I. Curriculum as required under the Education Reform (N.I.)
