The aim of the Science Department is to promote positive attitudes to learning so that each child develops his/her full potential by

• Encouraging pupils to be inquisitive about the world around them.
• Aquiring the knowledge and skill necessary for everyday life.
• Developing pupils ability to discuss, analyse, reach decisions and apply themselves to tasks.
• Developing the ability to communicate effectively through listening, speaking, reading, writing and ICT.
• Developing tolerance, awareness of others and the ability to respect values and opinions that may differ from one's own
• Developing a sense of responsibility of caring for others, helping pupils to realise that we are all interdependent.
