| Provision of Clothing | Any parent who thinks they are eligible to apply for assistance towards the provision of clothing can obtain an application form from secondary schools and at the Board’s headquarters. They are normally available from mid-April for the following academic year. Assistance takes the form of a cash payment and the amount is normally increased each year in line with inflation. | | Provision of School Meals | The school operates a cash cafeteria system. Any parent who thinks that their child is eligible for free school meals should obtain the appropriate form from the school office. | | | In view of the proposed new Common Funding for schools we would encourage all eligible parents to apply for assistance with clothing and free school meals.
